Today, in the City Library “JurajŠižgorić” in Šibenik, Faust’s collection was presented from the International Scientific Conference “Faust Vrančić and his time” held in 2015, marking the 400th anniversary of the publication of Machinae novae / New machines by Faust Vrančić. The Memorial Center was the organizer of the gathering as well as publisher of the proceedings with great support and cooperation with Dr. Sc. MarijanaBorić from the Department of History of Natural and Mathematical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The editors of proceedings are MarijanaBorić, ZrinkaBlažević and BojanMarotti. Publishing of proceedings was financially supported by the Ministry of Science and Education and the County of Šibenik-Knin. Promotion of the proceedings was attended by bishop TomislavRogić, representatives of the City of Šibenik and the County, headed by Mayor Goran Pauk, and numerous other guests from Šibenik and the county.
