26th of June, 2019 – As part of the Summer School of Croatian Language and Culture on the island of Prvić, an interesting lecture was given in our Center by journalist, director and producer Miljenko Dujela under the title: Stories by missionary reporter.
Dujela was born in Zadar and spent a significant amount of time in Rome working for RAI Italian TV but also traveling around the world creating remarkable reportages. He gave a great contribution to the promotion of Zadar and Croatia, especially during the War in Croatia and was a filmmaker on the battlefields in South Sudan.
Working as a research journalist, he met a variety of issues that motivated him to help children and victims in the poor and war-affected areas. In particular, he highlighted two reports, about the consequences of the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl and the war in South Sudan.
