March 1, 2019 – Our Memorial Center “Faust Vrančić” has taken its place on the Route of cultural tourism “Water – Powerful Creator of History” as part of the HERCULTOUR strategic project. The Route of Cultural Tourism “Water – a Powerful Creator of History” unites the most significant tourist attractions in Šibenik-Knin County. It includes twenty attractions on six sites throughout the Šibenik-Knin County, and connects Šibenik, the island of Prvić, the wider area of ​​Vodice, the central and lower streams of the river Krka and the archaeological site Danilo-Rider. The project HERCULTOUR, which holder is Šibenik-Knin County, is a strategic project worth 1.17 million Euro, of which 85% is co-financed by the European Union through Standard + call for project proposals under the #INTERREG Cross-Border Cooperation Program Italy – Croatia 2014 – 2020. The goal of the project is to strengthen existing cross-border cooperation in the field of tourism between Italy and Croatia and to strengthen cooperation between institutions and key stakeholders in order to improve and preserve cultural and historical heritage, increase investment in tourism promotion and create common tourist offers in different areas.
