Today, March 19th, at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb, the proceedings “Faust Vrančić and his time” was presented at the International Scientific Conference on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the publication of the New machines by Faust Vrančić under the patronage of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The introductory word was addressed by the Secretary of the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Chemical Sciences of the HAZU, academician Goran Pichler.

Proceedings were presented by:

The Proceedings were written by Dr. Marijana Borić, prof. dr. sc. Zrinka Blažević and PhD. Bojan Marotti.

It was a pleasure to present the proceedings in Zagreb as well. Earlier, in the fall of 2018, for the first time, a collection of Faust`s works was presented in Šibenik in the City Library “Juraj Šižgorić”.
