5. May 2019. – Let’s learn and think about the food together! We are organizing this event inspired by the topic of this year’s 24th Educational Museum Action (PRE) FOOD in which we will participate on May 11, 2019 at 11am in our Center.
What was the menu of noble families who were spending their summer vacation on island of Prvić, and what was the menu of their fishermen and laborers? For what kind of food family Vrančić felt most nostalgia as they traveled, wrote, and ruled at European centers, and why is in this story artichoke so important – this will reveal Zlatka Rodin in her lecture “What people ate in island of Prvić in Faust’s time?”
The Šmit family on their estate Puntarski dvori in Šepurine uses artichoke in production and what else can be found in their assortment – Mario and Ivanka Šmit will discover to us.
See you on May 11th at 11am in the Memorial Center “Faust Vrančić”!
